Class Jersey Order

If Paul LeCroy is the coordinator of Class jerseys, what are Kathleen Walter and Rachel Miers’ roles in this?

Kathleen and Rachel are database specialists. A database specialist is someone who find and maintains records of all class members. A database specialist works with the Alumni Relations to ensure that the database is up-to-date.

Do we have a database specialist? Yes, we do. In fact, we have two database specialists! They are Kathleen Walter and Rachel Miers. One of their jobs is to ask members if they would like to order a class jersey. Once the orders are tallied, they send the information to Paul LeCroy, class jersey coordinator who will be involved with the design, order, and distribution of class jerseys.

Member Confirmation

What is the difference between confirmation and completion of the members?

Some non-members of Class of 1992 graduated in 1992 and their names appeared on the Class of 1992 database list. Also, members of Class of 1992 graduated in different years and their names are not on the Class of 1992. Kathleen Walter and Rachel Miers, database specialists have to ask them to confirm that they are 92ers. Those who confirmed that they are not 92ers will be removed from the 1992 database and those whose names are not on the 1992 list confirmed they are 92ers will be added to the 1992 database. Kathleen and Rachel are working with the Alumni Relations to ensure that their database is updated.

Completion is to confirm that members’ contact information is up to date and respond through email to prove that their email addresses are good to use. Then, you are on!

How can I contact Kathleen and Rachel if I have questions regarding my name on the list or my contact information?

You can send them a message through their inbox on Facebook (Kathleen is under Kathleen Frawley Walter and Rachel is under Rachel C Miers) or you can email to Kathleen Walter at berryrose22@gmail.com and Rachel Miers at rkmiers@iinet.net.au. If my contact information is changed after the reunion, can I still contact Kathleen or Rachel?
Yes, you can. They will continue to work with the Alumni Relations office at Gallaudet to ensure that the database stays updated after the reunion.

Is my contact information being kept confidential?

Yes. Your contact information is not shared with anyone except for the database specialists. Alumni Relations office at Gallaudet, Reunion chairperson and registration coordinator.

The Class of 1992 committee anticipates that there will be some children and young adults from 5 to 17 years of age will be participating in the kid care. While you enjoy your reunion activities, your children will participate in a carefully managed program of age-appropriate activities designed to entertain them and introduce them to new friends and experiences.

The kid care program is limited to the first 50 registered children. The program includes a day sitter and an evening sitter for children staying on campus during Reunion. If you are not staying on campus during Reunion, you can still register your child for the daytime program for kids are both day and evening.

The children (5–12 years) who are staying on campus will have sitters each night. The sitters will be with them until their parents return (but not later than 12:30 a.m.). The Reunion Kids’ fee is separate from the registration fee. For children who are not staying on campus, nighttime care will be available at the night events until 12:30 a.m.

There are some events in which children are not allowed to participate. We will provide specifics closer to the reunion.
